For the safety of the staff and your pet, Aphrodite Pet Stylist requires that you disclose when you book if your dog or cat exhibits any difficult or aggressive behavior. We must ensure staff and pets are protected against injury.

• No liability will be accepted by Aphrodite Pet Stylist in injury caused by the difficult or aggressive behavior of your pet.

• An additional cost will be incurred for any dogs that require knot or matted removal. This incurs additional costs because it is a time-consuming process requiring expertise so as not to injure the animal, it also dulls equipment.

• We do not accept pregnant dogs.

• We do not accept dogs in heat.

• We reserve the right to take and use pictures of your pet for social media, advertising, and education. If you do not wish pictures of your pet to be used for these purposes, you must notify us at the time of your appointment.

• By using our services, owners verify their dogs are up to date with vaccinations.

• Aphrodite Pet Stylist strives to be a flea/tick-free environment. If your dog has a flea or tick infestation we will ask you to reschedule your grooming appointment once the flea or tick problem is under control.

Terms & Conditions for Dog Teeth Cleaning

I understand staff will be using the Emmi-Pet Teeth Ultrasound toothbrush on my dog which has no vibration, no movement, and no noise. I understand staff will take before and after pictures to show me.

• I understand that tartar, plaque, or stains will be removed from the teeth during brushing and that a non-sharp plastic tool may be used to aid this process.

• Not only that, but I understand that the staff will stop the teeth cleaning session and I may need to seek veterinary assistance if:

• Any loose teeth are suspected

• if my dog objects and becomes stressed or aggressive.

• Any obvious abnormalities are visible or suspected in the mouth such as a foreign body embedded in the mouth, oral warts, oral injuries, or tumors.

• I understand that there may be some minor signs of blood on the gum line during and after the teeth cleaning as the tartar and the plaque are removed.

• I declare that I am aware that the teeth cleaning service is not a substitute for a veterinary inspection and the staff are not qualified to diagnose abnormalities or disease.

• I declare that I consent to all the above and confirm that I am the legal owner/guardian of this dog.
